Recent Guest Testimonials:
I have been coming here since I was born, and my parents would come every year since they met. I thought it would be fun to spend a relaxing time and enjoy ourselves at the Bavarian Inn for my anniversary. And I was right! We had an amazing time, as always, and even though this was my first time coming here as an adult, I had just as much fun, if not more. The room was beautiful, the pools were clean, and if you don't mind being surrounded by children having fun then this place is the perfect hotel for an anniversary getaway!
We had so much fun and the staff was awesome. I recommend hanging out in the lounge when entertainment sings! He has an amazing voice and my 3 kids loved it. We are planning our next stay!!
Our room was very nice & comfortable, with a view of the river. The location is perfect, just a short walk to Zehnders, Bavarian Inn & all the wonderful shops. You will never be bored! The water slides at the hotel are lots of fun & so are the many pools, also miniature golf, an arcade & perfect Pizza. Did I mention the food, Oma's & The Lorelei have a great selection, PLUS awesome Beer selection. You cant go wrong & wont need to eat or drink anywhere else. Wonderful Service & Family Friendly. Try it, you wont be sorry!
The staff was most informative, courteous, friendly and ready to make our stay"Home away from home".We highly recommend this lodge for great meals and top of the list in hospitality. We are now addicted to return shortly.Addiction can be very rewarding.
this is our go to place for a short getaway. Always clean, the service is great and it's got a lot for the kids to do. Indoor arcade, mini golf, several pools (including adult only if you are traveling without children) and water slides. In the evening they do family karaoke in the fun center. I recommend staying here if you like a nice hotel, great staff and good value!
We love staying at the Bavarian Inn Lodge when we visit Frankenmuth. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and there is so much to see and do within a short walk. Its great to see the families, the young couples and the seniors having a nice time at the Lodge. The Bavarian Inn restaurant has great food, they even offer a vegetarian menu if chicken is not your thing. We recommend it to anyone not already familiar with this Michigan treasure.
What better way to celebrate my wife's birthday, then a romantic getaway to this enchanting, warm and inviting venue. The architecture of this facility is breathtaking. My wife and I strolled the grounds daily. We especially loved relaxing at the Lorelei Lounge each night. The bar staff (Audrey and Diamond), made us feel at home. We were greeted with a warm "Welcome back you guys" each evening. I recommend the "Soaking in the Sun" cocktail! Nightly entertainment provided by Kurt singing to the bar patrons made us feel very welcomed.
Oma's restaurant was delicious. I recommend the banana nut bread french toast (no syrup required). Water slides were fun. All in all the atmosphere from this hotel could equate to receiving a warm hug from your grandmother. Can't wait to return.
"I Felt Like I Was At A Couples Resort"
We have stayed at the Bavarian Inn Lodge multiple times over the years usually with our kids. We have always had a fantastic time. Kids absolutely love it. BUT this was a weekend away for just my husband and I for Snow Fest and his birthday. Our room was a walkout to the adult pool courtyard. And as much as I loved taking the kids there in the past, I would have never known there were kids in the lodge. I felt like I was at a couple's resort.
We spent a wonderful evening in the Lorelei lodge with fabulous service and wonderful entertainment.
We will definitely be coming back.
Very European , relaxing , tranquil setting beside the river complete with a riverboat sounding it's fog horn which can be heard throughout the Bavarian Inn Lodge and through the village of Frankenmuth as it paddles under a uniquely hand crafted covered bridge held together with hand turned wooden spikes. The stores , boutiques and restaurants are fashioned so very close to european likeness it's amazing. The rooms are clean and spacious , the food excellent and the staff efficient / friendly. Frankenmuth's street lined floral gardens in the village are beautifully displayed in full splender ( incredible ).Will spend OctoberFest there some day. EIN PROSIT
My family has been coming to the Bavarian Inn Lodge for years and each time is never a disappointment. We love this place. The staff is always very accommodating and pleasant. The rooms are comfy and clean. Each visit is a wonderful opportunity for my family to make memories. Staying here is a must if you travel to Frankenmuth.
This was one of the best hotel/resort experiences that we have had. It was really unique to be able to step into a hotel and feel like you are in another part of the world! The staff was awesome from the check in to the games room and everywhere else. Good food and lots to do without even leaving the hotel. The water slides were fun for little kids through to adults! We planned to stay for one night and were able to book a second night although it was very busy during the winter festival in Frankenmuth. We felt very welcomed when, Kim, one of the managers of the hotel asked if he could assist us at the front desk and took the time to speak with us and our kids casually and ask us questions about our stay. Considering the level of service we received-even during a sold out hotel-we are already anticipating our next trip back!
Three adults, three teens and a sixteenth birthday party. There was something for everyone, from an adults only pool to huge water slides and pools for the teens. We all had a blast, the birthday girl had a memorable time and best of all, not once did I hear, " I'm bored". Thanks to a great staff!
This hotel has the friendliest staff of any place I have stayed at in many years. The rooms are very clean, well decorated and large. Excellent food and entertainment provided within the hotel. The location is perfect for visiting the sights in beautiful Frankenmuth. Stay here and you will be glad you did!
Spent 2 nights with our 3 granddaughters over Christmas break. This was our 2nd stay with them here. We had a great time. Plenty for the girls to do. They love the pools, arcade, games & dancing in the Lorelei lounge & karaoke in the Ratskellers. We didn't leave the lodge for the 2 nights because of the cold weather. Stayed in a family suite on the fun center level which was perfect. Nice refrigerator in suite but could definitely use a microwave in room to heat leftovers from meals. Plan on staying with them 3 nights next Christmas break and attending New Year's Eve celebrations.
Perfect weather, perfect Autumn day, and after a day of touring and playing, the warm welcome, amazing rooms, and overall ambience of The Bavarian Inn Lodge kept the perfect going! This property never ceases to amaze me. Service is consistently responsive and friendly. The rooms and restaurants are impeccably appointed. And, despite the amount of people and all events taking place, I felt like one of the family. This will always be my choice of lodging when visiting Frankenmuth.
This place was perfect! Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Pools were amazing and the arcade is fabulous! Brunch on Sunday is a must... We spent my triplets 8th bday there with 13 total family members. We've now decided this has to become an annual event! I'm a pretty picky traveler, so for all you questioning this hotel... Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
If you want great service, delicious food, a comfortable room, and fun atmosphere the Bavarian Inn Lodge is the place for you.
Not only was the staff extremely helpful and friendly, the hotel itself was very accommodating. I came with my family of six, kids ages ranging from 8-2 and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The rooms were very spacious and so it was still enjoyable being in our room too. Overall a great time had by all and can't wait to go back soon!
We chose the Bavarian Inn because it had something for every member of our family. My oldest enjoyed the water slides, my youngest the putt putt, my husband liked the pretzel making class and I enjoyed the shopping. I can't wait to go back!
My family and I having going to the Bavarian Inn for years. 20+ years, since I was a kid when my parents took me and my sister with there friends. So now in my 30's, my sister and I kept the tradition going by taking our families. My Family and I had a great time and obviously we're creating great memories' for our kids. What an OUTSTANDING PLACE for family fun and entertainment.
We recently spent 3 days and two nights mid week here and were very happy with the accommodations. The three pools all have hot tubs beside them and one has the coolest kid area with the big slide that is covered and all kids love. We enjoyed the adult only pool as well. We enjoyed our retreat time in this little piece of Bavaria in Frankenmuth!!! Everyone is so friendly and happy you are there!!
This hotel has the friendliest staff of any place I have stayed at in many years. The rooms are very clean, well decorated and large. Excellent food and entertainment provided within the hotel. The location is perfect for visiting the sights in beautiful Frankemuth. Stay here and you will be glad you did!
We, three generations now, have returned to The Bavarian Inn annually for 17 Thanksgiving holidays. We have wonderful memories from our visits. Lovely, clean rooms with each room dedicated to the history of local families that helped to settle the area. A variety of pools available for all ages and relaxing hot tubs, too. The younger part of the family happily makes use of the recently installed water slides. We also enjoy the delicious buffet available on the holiday. The staff at the Inn is very friendly and gracious. We have made use of the traditional feel of the Bavarian Inn to make special traditions for our family!
(We have also stayed here each September since 2002 for the Frankenmuth Autofest Classic Car Show / Event...good times!)
My family and I stay here at least four times a year if not more and it has always been our favorite destination. The staff is always very friendly the rooms are clean and there is enough to do that you don't have to leave the hotel if you don't want to. This last trip we waited late to book it and even though they had sold the last room package already they gave us a slightly nicer room at the same rate! The young lady making our reservations made me feel like she truly WANTED us to be able to stay with them, SHE WAS AWESOME!
Our family has been staying at the Bavarian since the 90's. Once again this beautiful well maintained resort did not disappoint . We had very spacious room with a view of the river. If you plan to return make sure to join the perks club. Try the pizza in the ratzkeller in the family fun center, and the chicken in Oma's . 5 pools with one dedicated to adults and 3 hot tubs. We always enjoy our stays here and walks across the covered bridge into town. We'll keep coming back.
Probably the fastest, most efficient check-in and check-out I have ever experienced. Staff very helpful and go out of their way to assist. Lots of kids activities but just as enjoyable for folks like us without kids.
My husband and I were guests at the Bavarian Inn lodge while attending a wedding reception. The service, venue and food were absolutely first rate. Old fashioned personal service , excellent food and comfortable rooms are hallmarks of the Bavaraian Inn. I would much rather stay here than any big chain hotel!
I would recommend them to families with young children as well as older couples looking for quality and comfort. Jean Libs
