Recent Guest Testimonials:

We decided to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary in Frankenmuth and since 2000 we have always stayed at the Bavarian Inn Lodge. This celebration weekend was no different. Once again, staff were friendly, everything was clean, the room was ready before the actual check in time, good food choices, and always fun times in the Ratskeller. Our children came over to celebrate with us for a chicken meal at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. Can't wait for our return visit in October and again in January!! So many great things here we, recommended everyone give it a try, you will not regret your decision.

Perfect weather, perfect Autumn day, and after a day of touring and playing, the warm welcome, amazing rooms, and overall ambience of The Bavarian Inn Lodge kept the perfect going! This property never ceases to amaze me. Service is consistently responsive and friendly. The rooms and restaurants are impeccably appointed. And, despite the amount of people and all events taking place, I felt like one of the family. This will always be my choice of lodging when visiting Frankenmuth.

To our surprise the bavarian inn lodge was the first wish on my great grandaughters christmas list!we were able to spend Christmas eve and day at the hotel. The trip was affordable and a family joy - the games pools and shops were awesome. Thanks to all who made two little girls wish a wonderful memory

We, three generations now, have returned to The Bavarian Inn annually for 17 Thanksgiving holidays. We have wonderful memories from our visits. Lovely, clean rooms with each room dedicated to the history of local families that helped to settle the area. A variety of pools available for all ages and relaxing hot tubs, too. The younger part of the family happily makes use of the recently installed water slides. We also enjoy the delicious buffet available on the holiday. The staff at the Inn is very friendly and gracious. We have made use of the traditional feel of the Bavarian Inn to make special traditions for our family!
(We have also stayed here each September since 2002 for the Frankenmuth Autofest Classic Car Show / Event...good times!)

My family and I stay here at least four times a year if not more and it has always been our favorite destination. The staff is always very friendly the rooms are clean and there is enough to do that you don't have to leave the hotel if you don't want to. This last trip we waited late to book it and even though they had sold the last room package already they gave us a slightly nicer room at the same rate! The young lady making our reservations made me feel like she truly WANTED us to be able to stay with them, SHE WAS AWESOME!

"Another Great Trip"

We have stayed here at least a dozen times and travel 6 hours to get here. The staff is always so friendly, the whole hotel is spotless, and food is delicious. The perks club is a gives us a great excuse to go back. We just got home yesterday and are already planning our next trip. We love to be there when they harvest the hubbard squash. What a sight to behold!

Our family has been staying at the Bavarian since the 90's. Once again this beautiful well maintained resort did not disappoint . We had very spacious room with a view of the river. If you plan to return make sure to join the perks club. Try the pizza in the ratzkeller in the family fun center, and the chicken in Oma's . 5 pools with one dedicated to adults and 3 hot tubs. We always enjoy our stays here and walks across the covered bridge into town. We'll keep coming back.

"Wedding Venue"

My husband and I were guests at the Bavarian Inn lodge while attending a wedding reception. The service, venue and food were absolutely first rate. Old fashioned personal service , excellent food and comfortable rooms are hallmarks of the Bavaraian Inn. I would much rather stay here than any big chain hotel!

I would recommend them to families with young children as well as older couples looking for quality and comfort. Jean Libs

"I Felt Like I Was At A Couples Resort"

We have stayed at the Bavarian Inn Lodge multiple times over the years usually with our kids. We have always had a fantastic time. Kids absolutely love it. BUT this was a weekend away for just my husband and I for Snow Fest and his birthday. Our room was a walkout to the adult pool courtyard. And as much as I loved taking the kids there in the past, I would have never known there were kids in the lodge. I felt like I was at a couple's resort.

We spent a wonderful evening in the Lorelei lodge with fabulous service and wonderful entertainment.

We will definitely be coming back.

Very European , relaxing , tranquil setting beside the river complete with a riverboat sounding it's fog horn which can be heard throughout the Bavarian Inn Lodge and through the village of Frankenmuth as it paddles under a uniquely hand crafted covered bridge held together with hand turned wooden spikes. The stores , boutiques and restaurants are fashioned so very close to european likeness it's amazing. The rooms are clean and spacious , the food excellent and the staff efficient / friendly. Frankenmuth's street lined floral gardens in the village are beautifully displayed in full splender ( incredible ).Will spend OctoberFest there some day. EIN PROSIT

"Another Fantastic Experience"

We recently made our annual visit to Frankenmuth, and, as usual had a great experience at the Bavarian Inn Lodge. With a smiling staff that is second to none and super clean rooms that are always perfectly maintained, you can rest assured that there will not be any unwelcome surprises ! Ask for a river view room with balcony. It's great for relaxing in the evening with a bottle of Michigan wine, and cheese spreads from the Frankenmuth Cheese Haus.

What better way to celebrate my wife's birthday, then a romantic getaway to this enchanting, warm and inviting venue. The architecture of this facility is breathtaking. My wife and I strolled the grounds daily. We especially loved relaxing at the Lorelei Lounge each night. The bar staff (Audrey and Diamond), made us feel at home. We were greeted with a warm "Welcome back you guys" each evening. I recommend the "Soaking in the Sun" cocktail! Nightly entertainment provided by Kurt singing to the bar patrons made us feel very welcomed.
Oma's restaurant was delicious. I recommend the banana nut bread french toast (no syrup required). Water slides were fun. All in all the atmosphere from this hotel could equate to receiving a warm hug from your grandmother. Can't wait to return.

Great location! Fabulous options for the kids (and adults). 4 pools, HUGE Gameroom with games for all ages, prize counter. Fantastic food, clean and welcoming.

Every staff member greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly hello. Very attentive to our needs. I even heard that the Grandmother still oversees the kitchen at 94 years old. PURE MICHIGAN at it's best.

Be sure to visit, you won't be disappointed!

"Father's Day / Birthday Celebration"

We love staying at the Bavarian Inn Lodge when we visit Frankenmuth. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and there is so much to see and do within a short walk. Its great to see the families, the young couples and the seniors having a nice time at the Lodge. The Bavarian Inn restaurant has great food, they even offer a vegetarian menu if chicken is not your thing. We recommend it to anyone not already familiar with this Michigan treasure.

"Get-A-Way for Two"

Check-in was smooth and quick, despite there being a line of people checking in at the same time. Our room was exactly what we requested at booking and was clean and comfortable. The inn was surprisingly quiet at night, much more so than our experiences at other large facilities catering to families with children. The grounds were beautiful and we were able to walk to many of the places we wanted to visit.

For nearly 35 years, my family has come to Frankenmuth--first when I was a child with my family and now as a father/husband with my family. When we come, we stay at the Bavarian Inn and truly enjoy the time spent there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff members are great and the food is 5 star. Most of all, the stay creates family memories you will always cherish.

The Bavarian Inn Lodge was an excellent choice for our group! Wonderful Staff (Thanks Char, you're the best), clean, comfy rooms, awesome conference room facilities, incredible game-pool-water slide area, truly everything we needed and then some. Our event was host to youth and chaperons for Youth Implosion 2016 and we could not have stayed at a better hotel. From the first phone call to arrange details, to check out, The Bavarian Inn Lodge staff made our event successful, fun and truly a memorable event! If you are looking for a great get-away for family or for a group, this is the Place To Go!!

Our family Christmas party has been held in hotel banquet facilities here in MI for more than 20 years. It is a hallmark of our close family ties that 60 to 80+ of us will drive or fly to Ann Arbor, Frankenmuth, Grand Blanc, Novi, Plymouth, Sterling Heights or Troy for 24 hours of food, fun and holiday traditions. Our family holiday planners have booked numerous hotels over the years, but we have gone to the Bavarian Inn Lodge in Frankenmuth more than anywhere else. The Bavarian Inn offers a wide variety of activities for our 3 generations of family. This year the staff really went the extra mile to accommodate us, including vegetarian and vegan meal options. Quite simply, nobody celebrates Christmas better than the Bavarian Inn!
– Andy Z. - Christmas 2015

Nice stay. Clean, comfortable room. The bed was great. Slept like a baby. Option of soft or firm pillow. Recommend firm. Very enjoyable time in a nice clean town. The people of Frankenmuth can be proud of what they have to offer visitors. The Bavarian Inn was simply the icing on the cake. We have been back and we will be back to our favorite weekend get away.

I have been coming here since I was born, and my parents would come every year since they met. I thought it would be fun to spend a relaxing time and enjoy ourselves at the Bavarian Inn for my anniversary. And I was right! We had an amazing time, as always, and even though this was my first time coming here as an adult, I had just as much fun, if not more. The room was beautiful, the pools were clean, and if you don't mind being surrounded by children having fun then this place is the perfect hotel for an anniversary getaway!

"Mini Bavarian - Mighty Beautiful!"

The lodge is amazingly decorated in a Bavarian vibe with staff adorned in Deutsche attire (very cute). Each room has its own surname with family history, including photos in your suite. Make sure to check out the hand painted mailbox in the lobby.

First of all in 1998 I purchased my mom & stepdad a gift certificate for the Bavarian Inn. My mom passed away in 2012 and I stumbled across the certificate while going through her paperwork. I inquired with the staff at the Bavarian Inn if it was possible to still use it and they did not hesitate. They replaced the package I purchased for one that would accommodate our family !! I can't tell you how much we appreciated that and I would definitely recommended this hotel for their wonderful staff and all the things the kids loved like water slides, pools, hot tubs, mini golf and the arcade!!!

Trust Me... You Won't Be Disappointed!

This place was perfect! Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Pools were amazing and the arcade is fabulous! Brunch on Sunday is a must... We spent my triplets 8th bday there with 13 total family members. We've now decided this has to become an annual event! I'm a pretty picky traveler, so for all you questioning this hotel... Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
– McMasters Triplets

My family loves it here and there is always lots to do! They have been doing some modern updates while still keeping some traditional looks. The pools, slides, mini golf and the arcade is one of the best I know. Staff is so friendly and we already have plans to go back in a couple of months!

We chose the Bavarian Inn because it had something for every member of our family. My oldest enjoyed the water slides, my youngest the putt putt, my husband liked the pretzel making class and I enjoyed the shopping. I can't wait to go back!
