Culinary talent was on full display at the recent American Culinary Federation Competition hosted at Bavarian Inn Lodge, where team members from both Bavarian Inn Restaurant and the Lodge earned multiple top placements across several categories.

The competition featured five judged categories, including three savory divisions: chicken, pork, and shrimp, along with Best Display and People’s Choice. Competitors showcased creativity, technical skill, and presentation to judges and attendees.

The Bavarian Inn Restaurant team captured first place in all three savory categories. Andrew Reamer earned first place in the Pork Category with his Mustard Green Stuffed Pork Loin with Spiced Peach Compote. Quinella Davis took first place in the Shrimp Category with her Blackened Shrimp Boa. Thomas Reamer rounded out the wins with first place in the Chicken Category for his Poulet et Gaufres, a French-inspired take on chicken and waffles.

The Bavarian Inn Lodge culinary team also received top recognition during the competition. Isabella Larson earned second place in the Chicken Category, while Larson and Lindsey Groom teamed up to earn first place in the Cookie Category.
