Day 1: Arrival and Evening Fun
4:00 PM – As you drive through the Wooden Covered Bridge and arrive at our German-inspired resort, pause to snap a few pictures in front of Bavarian Inn Lodge! Park and head to the Front Desk Lobby to check in. Once you’re in your room, take a moment to explore its details. Each room is named after one of Frankenmuth’s founding families and is decorated with historical documents and artifacts that tell their story.
5:00 PM – Change into your swimsuits and make your way to Michigan’s Biggest Indoor Waterpark and Family Fun Center, Bavarian Blast Waterpark! Grab a quick dinner at Chef Willy’s Café while you’re there. Our specialty pizzas are perfect for waterpark fuel!
7:30 PM – Dry off and head to the Family Fun Center to keep the excitement going. Pick up a game card from the Game Card Kiosks outside of the Treasure Haus Redemption Store and explore our 180+ video and redemption games.
9:00 PM – End the night with a game of Dragon’s Lair Laser Tag and a specialty sundae from Emilie’s Eis, our on-site ice cream shop!
Day 2: Full Day of Family Fun
8:00 AM – Wake up refreshed and enjoy a breakfast buffet at Oma’s Restaurant.
9:00 AM – Head back to the Family Fun Center to enjoy a morning round of mini-golf before the waterpark reopens for the day.
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Change into your swimsuits and return to Bavarian Blast Waterpark for morning waterpark fun. (Pro-tip: Book a cabana for the day to enjoy a private space with seating for everyone in the family, a TV, mini-fridge, safe, and your own cabana server)
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Take a lunch/fuel break at Chef Willy’s!
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Continue the waterpark fun or dry off and head to our Family Fun Center to explore our three-story ropes course, mini-bowling, Build-A-Bear Workshop®, and more arcade games!
5:00 PM – 6:30 PM – Take a short break, browse George’s Wassermarket for souvenirs, or rest in your room before dinner.
6:30 PM – 8:00 PM – Take a short drive across the Wooden Covered Bridge to Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Restaurant and enjoy their World-Famous Family-Style Chicken Dinner!
8:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Return to the Family Fun Center to keep the fun going! (Pro-tip: all other pools outside of Bavarian Blast Waterpark stay open until 11 PM Sunday – Thursday and 12 PM Friday & Saturday, and are great offerings if you are looking to keep the aquatic fun going into the evening!)
9:00 PM – 10:00 PM – End the night back at the Lorelei Lounge for a nightcap, a mocktail for the kiddos, or a midnight snack while enjoying our nightly live entertainment.
Day 3: One Last Splash
8:00 AM – Wake up and head to the Family Fun Center to squeeze in the last bit of fun before check-out.
9:00 AM – Grab breakfast at the Ratskeller to fuel the travel day ahead!
10:00 AM – Head back to the room to pack and prepare for check out. Change into your swimsuits and pack a bag of extra clothes so you can continue enjoying the waterpark after leaving your room.
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM– Stop by the Front Lobby to check out, then drop your belongings at your vehicle. The fun isn’t over yet. Head back inside and enjoy the waterpark until 2:00 PM!
On the drive home, reminisce on the family memories by scrolling through your photos and submitting them to our photo contest for a chance to return for an overnight stay for free!
