Bartenders at the Lodge work within the Oma’s Restaurant and the Lorelei Lounge, also catering to the banquets, private parties, events and more for our larger parties of guests in the Conference Center. They must maintain a high level of professionalism, following all Michigan State Laws and Regulations for the sale of alcohol and must adhere to the Bavarian Inn Lodge policies, as well. $8.50/hr plus TIPS – Part-Time Bartending and Food Service, Bartender, Banquet Server & Bartender, Food Server. Must follow all Federal and State regulations regarding the sale of alcohol and must follow all policies outlined by the Bavarian Inn Lodge. There will be a training period of 3 months to acclimate to the drink menu. Must have prior food service experience.

Responsible for the preparation, serving and beverages at the Bar or served in the Dining Room; maintains stock in the Bar Area; maintains cleanliness of the Bar Area; responsible for the billing and collecting of all food and beverage served in the Dining Room, Bar and Banquet Areas; responsible for the security of all cash and checks; responsible for the security of all beverage items; maintains superior guest service and quality food and beverage items in the Bar.  This position will start with training in Oma’s Restaurant for a 1 – 2 week period prior to bartender training in order to become familiar with the menu.
