Bavarian Inn Dining Testimonials
Our family loves to visit the Bavarian Inn whenever we visit Michigan. The chicken is always fresh and severed hot. Can't compare this lightly breaded chicken to any fast food chain. Dinners there remind me of a great holiday dinner. Must try if you've never eaten there. Delightful experience.
Service is excellent-patient, helpful, and quick. I think that is a Hallmark of this establishment. Always busy, it seems, but still attentive. Portion is always large, but the most enjoyable aspect are the sides available. They allow, with the family style presentation, greater conversation and interaction, while tasting and comparing each side. That is a really great experience that will make your time here more memorable.
My family comes here at least a few times a year. The family style dinner has chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, noodles in chicken broth, a bunch of different salads, homemade bread with jelly, and ice cream. Very filling. Love the German theme since my family is german. My grandma always brought me here as a kid. In the basement they have a few shops, which have chocolates, baked goods, frankenmuth memorabilia etc. Definitely worth trying
We went to the Easter Bunny Luncheon here and did shopping afterwards and a great time was had by all! They really did a fantastic job with this luncheon and had a very funny and unique magician as part of it. The kid's had a fantastic time. Afterwards we shopped in all of the little shops here and were pleased with the variety throughout! Had a great experience.. Thanks Bavarian Inn Restaurant!!
My wife and I have to visit Bavarian Inn for their famous chicken dinners at least once a year while visiting Michigan. They continue to provide an outstanding meal with service 2nd to none. Thank you.
We had an amazing dinner here tonight. Family style all you can eat chicken with all the fixings. Everything was fresh and delicious. All the staff we encountered were nice and kind. Our waitress, Traci, was outstanding, very courteous, friendly and professional. We received a great value for what we paid. I highly recommend this place, it is especially good for families.
We chose the Bavarian Inn because it had something for every member of our family. My oldest enjoyed the water slides, my youngest the putt putt, my husband liked the pretzel making class and I enjoyed the shopping. I can't wait to go back!
We had a party of 22 and were allowed to use coupons we had gotten emailed to us. We had 3 generations of family reuniting for dinner and the experience was one for the memory books. I went as a child with my grandparents and now I was the grandfather. Wonderful ladies took care of us like we were family and absolutely nothing was wrong. The chicken will always be first class in our opinion and all the other food was just icing on the cake. We are very happy we took the time to make this reunion happen. It was so worth it!
We've had lunches and dinners at the Bavarian Inn in the past, but on our most recent visit, the INN helped us host a private dinner party for our family and friends, while celebrating a milestone event. The family-style dinner was enjoyed by all the guests, including small children and aging adults! Multi-courses were served hot, and in a timely manner.) The buttered noodles rank highly, among all ages. Served family-style, no one could go away hungry, as empty bowls and platters were refilled as quickly as they were emptied! The flavor of the chlcken is iconic . . . a bit different than you might prepare at home. It's a flavor that keeps you returning, whenever visiting Frankenmuth.
Yes, we've visited and reviewed the Bavarian Inn Restaurant in the past, but we continue to rave about the food quality, ambiance, and friendly staff. We know what to expect when we order either the full chicken family-style dinner, or a luncheon plate, which also provides plenty of food to fill us! The home-cooked flavors cannot be matched, even at home! This time, we visited the bar area near the front of the restaurant, for drinks and snacks, earlier in the afternoon. We were advised to get the "potato puffs", and were not disappointed. We hope to return . . . often!
