Over $37,000 raised by Bavarian Inn Corporation in 2023
FRANKENMUTH, Mich. – January 12, 2024 – Bavarian Inn Corporation partnered with the Rescue Ministries of Mid-Michigan as their charity selection for their annual giving program in 2023 to raise over $37,000!
Bavarian Inn Corporation was able to support the Rescue Ministries of Mid-Michigan by collecting $37,246 through the company’s annual giving program.
The Rescue Ministries of Mid-Michigan is a faith-based nonprofit organization that has locations in Bay City and Saginaw. Their mission is to provide support to the hurting and homeless of the Great Lakes Bay Region. Their locations include the Women’s Emergency Shelter, the Good Samaritan Women’s Shelter, the Good Samaritan Men’s Shelter, the Samaritan Youth Center, and Labadie Lofts. In collaboration with surrounding churches, corporations, and service agencies they offer shelter, care, meals, permanent housing, and faith-based support to those in need. During operation, they have served 93,501 meals and provided 64,233 nights of shelter.
The year-long charity campaign came to a close in December. The fundraising total was then announced at the annual post-holiday employee parties in January. The Bavarian Inn’s team members were able to support the non-profit all year through voluntary payroll deductions and various fundraising efforts. Some of the team members even got to volunteer for the day at the Saginaw location to support hands-on in the kitchen.
